About the Tudor Black Bay
Tudor launched the Black Bay in 2012 as a dive watch drawing on its own Submariner references of the 1950s to 1970s, including the 7922 of 1954 and the large-crown 7924. Its angular snowflake hands come from the Tudor divers supplied to the French Navy. The core Black Bay diver has a 41mm steel case, a unidirectional bezel and 200 metres of water resistance. In 2016 Tudor replaced the original modified ETA movement with its own manufacture calibre and swapped the rose logo for the shield. The family has since grown well beyond the original diver, including the smaller 39mm Black Bay Fifty-Eight.
