About the Tissot PRX
Tissot introduced the current PRX collection in 2021 as a re-edition of a 1978 quartz model with a slim case and integrated steel bracelet. The name stands for Precise and Robust, with the X representing the Roman numeral ten for 10 bar of water resistance. The collection launched with quartz movements and added the automatic Powermatic 80, with an 80-hour power reserve, later the same year. Defining traits are the barrel-shaped case that flows into the integrated bracelet and, on the first Powermatic 80 models, a textured chequerboard dial. The range now spans 25mm to 42mm cases, with quartz, automatic and chronograph models.
