About the Rolex Yacht-Master II
Rolex introduced the Yacht-Master II in 2007 as a regatta chronograph, built around a countdown that can be programmed from one to ten minutes and held in a mechanical memory. Its Ring Command bezel worked directly with the movement to set the countdown. Rolex dropped the collection in 2024. It returned in 2026 as reference 126680 in Oystersteel and reference 126688 in 18k yellow gold. The case remains 44mm and water resistant to 100 metres, the Ring Command system has gone in favour of programming through the two pushers, and the watch uses a newly developed automatic movement.
