About the Omega Speedmaster '57
The Speedmaster '57 takes its design from the first Speedmaster, reference CK2915 of 1957, with broad arrow hands and straight lugs. Omega introduced an automatic version using the calibre 9300 in 2013. In 2022 Omega launched a new generation in a 40.5 mm steel case, 12.99 mm thick, driven by the manual winding calibre 9906. That movement is a Co-Axial Master Chronometer chronograph with a column wheel, vertical clutch and 60 hour power reserve. The modern watch is a vintage inspired take on the original rather than an exact copy.
